This tryout will consist of a pro-style workout on Friday night, on the field BP, running off 60. Saturday will involve live game reps for the OBA staff to evaluate each player. This tryout is for ANY students in the 2024, 2025, 2027 and 2027 classes, that is ready to try out and compete on the national level.

This event will be an evaluation for Ostingers Baseball Academy 15U, 16U, 17U, and 18U teams for the summer of 2020. Over the past decade, over 95% of Seniors have signed and are playing at the next level! OBA takes pride in finding a fit for each player at the next level. We will work harder than anyone to help you get to the next level.  Ostingers has become a NATIONALLY recognized name for college showcase teams. OBA travel teams tore up the national circuit this summer. Four teams competed in Perfect Game, Prospect Wire, and PBR tournaments in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and Arizona with 5 tournament victories and 3 more top 4 finishes. Perfect Game ranked the 2020 (17U) team nationally at #10, while the 2021 Reed (16U) team came in at #15, and 2022 (15U) team finished at #36, based on tournament data and scouting reports. In addition, Prep Baseball Report has 33 of OBA players ranked in the top 150 of their graduating classes for the state of Florida. In the Perfect Game player ranking, they have 17 players nationally ranked. Summer commitments included the following schools: Clemson, Florida Southern, Florida Atlantic, University of Tampa, Miami, USF, Stetson, Embry Riddle, and more to come. Job well done!

Our 2018 summer teams won 5 summer events and the 17U team competed in the PG World Series in Arizona, 2020 team competed in the Prospect Wire Tournament of Champions for the third straight year at USF and finished in the top 8 of WWBA in Atlanta. Our 2016 Summer teams were ranked 29th (16U) and 51st (17U).  Our 2015 17U Summer team has been ranked #14 and our 16U team has been ranked #31 NATIONALLY by Perfect Game!  Our 2016 17U team was ranked 53rd and the 16U Green was ranked 31st Nationally! Coming off of these very successful summers and proving year in and year out that this program is successful, 2020 promises to be no different! We have had numerous commits and countless looks from schools all over the country.
